Jumping in
In the box this speaker comes with an optical cable (which will be what I use) a Component to 3.5mm AUX cable, a remote, some mounting screws and some paperwork. I will say I was suprised that the remote didnt come with batteries soy you have to provide them but the remote does actually match the same wood grain on the top of the soundbar, that's a nice touch. Something I was un aware before I tore into the box is that Taotronics will give you 18 month warranty with a 60 day return shipping as well if you register it. it is nice to see a manufacture stand behined there products.
Right away I was impressed with the build quality and design it has a foe wood grain (which is actually plastic) and metal mesh that is front facing with a plastic logo on the front of the device. I do like the buttons being on the top right of the soundbar in case you have to get up to turn up the volume you won't get in the way of others. Unlike a comparable Vizio sound bar. Also I am a fan of the indicator lights on the front of the bar as it is easy to tell exactually what input I am on. If we go back to that Vizio example I had to memorize a dot combination to tell what input the Vizio Soundbar was on, and most the time I was digging to find the user manual to find the instructions.
Sound Quality for the price I am actually surprised how good this speaker set up sounds! When watching TV shows voices are nice and clear mid tones are actually great. The sound bar produces some base but nothing like if it had a dedicated subwoofer. Muisc was good as well but gaming and watching TV/Movies on this seems to be the sweet spot. The sound on this soundbar is way better than what you get from your average TV Speakers. The Taotronics soundbar at 40 watts means that sadly there is not a ton of base however that does pretty clearly start to tell us what the best use case is for this speaker. There are 3 EQ modes Game mode, Movie mode and music mode. I will keep this short only use movie mode everything else is tinney

In Conclusion this soundbar for $79.99 is good especially if you are are replacing your TVs speakers. Ideally this soundbar is great in an apartment, kids room, bedroom, garage setting or even a workout area with a tv. I would use this in my main livingroom if I was only using my TVs speakers 100%. The fact that you can find this soundbar on sale and that they have given creators a special code so you can buy it for $64 makes it a great deal.
